Open Role - Auditor

The Role

To support a growing customer base in our Audit function, Positive is seeking to retain two experienced auditors. In this role, you will participate in the audit of small and medium-sized firms, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance.

You will process financial statements using Caseware under IFRS, communicating with clients and liaising on audit issues. You'll review accounting procedures and systems, identifying weaknesses and opportunities for improvement. Your keen eye for detail and strong sense of responsibility will allow you to maintain high standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

You will be empowered as a key player of our team to challenge the status quo, proactively seek to improve processes, and work collaboratively across Audit and the business.

Core Responsibilities

• Participate in the audit of small and medium-sized firms.
• Process financial statements using Caseware under IFRS.
• Communicate with clients and liaise on audit issues.
• Review accounting procedures and systems and identify weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare audit reports and present findings to clients and management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.

What We Require

• University degree(s) preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business or related fields, or CAT or LCCI third level Diploma, or commencing or partly completed ACA, ACCA or CPA.
• Good knowledge and/or background in accounting.
• Microsoft Excel and MS Office skills.
• Fluency in English and Greek, both written and spoken.

This is a negotiable hybrid role consisting of on-site and remote work with flexible hours.
